Formex Watches is an independent Swiss watch manufacturer based in Biel-Bienne, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking, where the entire production process from design, development, assembly and testing of all watches takes place. The company was founded in 1999 with the aim of producing watches that meet the highest quality standards. The brand is known for using high-tech materials and developing unique improvements and functions that lead to technical perfection of the watch and increased wearing comfort - among them the Case Suspension System, a patented case suspension system that protects the watch movement from impacts and increases comfort on the wrist. The Formex brand was founded by two brothers, watchmakers and watch enthusiasts, who wanted to combine their passion for watches with their love of motor sports. The watch construction is therefore characterized by high durability, suitable even for extreme conditions. It is aimed not only at watch lovers, but also at all athletes, outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers who require functionality and high reliability.
Formex is a combination of the French words "forme" and "extrème", loosely translated as extreme form/shape. All watches assembled at the brand's headquarters in Biel-Bienne meet the strictest requirements of the Swiss Made label. Each individual piece undergoes careful quality control and testing. Formex watches reflect a love of watchmaking, high quality workmanship, an innovative approach, constant development, the use of special materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
