The Formex Aria Automatic Manufacture Chronometer 40 mm Selva Green 0513.1.5103.100 represents a new era for the Formex brand. The watch comes with a proprietary manufacture movement with a micro-rotor, which has made it possible to create an extremely thin and light elegant watch without compromising on performance. The Aria model combines a level of high-end watchmaking, modern materials and a design inspired by natural shapes that seem to have been shaped by the wind and flowing water over centuries.

The 40 mm case and integrated bracelet are made of grade 5 titanium, a material used in aerospace and medicine for its exceptional strength, light weight and high resistance to corrosion.
The bracelet is finished with a butterfly clasp with integrated micro-adjustment, allowing the length to be adjusted by 3 mm on each side, without removing the watch from the wrist. Thanks to the quick release system, the bracelet can be easily replaced without the use of tools.

The green hue of the Selva Green dial was inspired by the warm atmosphere of the forest, and the amber undertones of the hands and indexes stand out spectacularly. The applied indices stand out from the finely sculpted surface reminiscent of natural relief and create a sense of depth. Above six o'clock is a recessed sub-dial of the seconds hand. The polished facets of the hands and indices contrast with the matt surfaces of the dial and provide excellent clarity. The hands and indices are gilded in rose gold. The luminescence (custom Tritec Super-LumiNova®) on the hands and indexes provides improved legibility in low light conditions.

The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Sapphire has also been used for the dial, revealing a glimpse of the new Manufacture calibre FX01, whose construction and decoration are among this model's greatest strengths - the surface is finished in a combination of black and gold, the bridges are decorated with vertical cut, the fine texture has been achieved by laser and the bevelled edges have been worked by hand.

Themicro-rotor equipped Formex FX01, which reaches a height of just 2.9 mm, was developed in collaboration with Horage. This mechanical machine with automatic winding and a running accuracy of -4/+6 s/day is COSC certified. The tungsten micro-rotor ensures efficient winding and provides a power reserve of over 72 hours.

The machine utilizes a complete silicon silicon hairspring, escape wheel and pallet fork. This design increases resistance to magnetism, reduces friction and contributes to long-term running stability. Of course, there is a manual winding option as well as a function to stop the second hand when setting the time.

Weighing just 78 grams, the watch feels very comfortable on the wrist. The case reaches a height of just 6.9 mm, making the Aria one of the thinnest automatic watches in its class.
The organic curves of the case and the seamlessly linked bracelet are complemented by hand-cut surfaces and polished lines and edges, which play up the subtle play of light and underline the overall character of the model.

The water resistance of this elegant piece is a sufficient 30 m for everyday use.
