5 year warranty

We provide an extended warranty of up to 5 years from the date of purchase for watches worth over CZK 1,990 purchased from us. We have complete confidence in our watches, which is why we have decided to extend the warranty beyond the legal requirements.

For example, with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, our extended warranty will cover an additional 3 years.

The extended warranty is free and comes into effect automatically. The extended contractual warranty only covers manufacturing defects in the movement and its operation. It does not cover defects in the movement associated with mechanical damage, such as damage caused by dropping, impact, or moisture ingress.

Together with watch insurance, your watch is perfectly taken care of.

The extended warranty begins after the statutory warranty expires, or after the manufacturer's warranty expires (which in some cases may be longer than 2 years). In the event of an extended warranty claim, it is always necessary to arrange repairs directly with Helveti service.

Premature termination of the contractual extended warranty:

In the following cases, the customer may lose the extended warranty prematurely:

• Intervention by a service center other than Helveti without the consent of the warranty provider (unprofessional intervention)
• Battery replacement outside the Helveti service center (or outside authorized service centers during the factory warranty period - with the consent of Helveti)
• Loss of warranty certificates, proof of purchase, and inability to identify the buyer (if we cannot find your purchase in the system or prove it in any way, the warranty cannot be provided)

Note 1: We introduced a 5-year warranty on all watches purchased from us on October 25, 2018. It applies to new orders from that date. From December 2022, we will provide a 5-year warranty on watches worth CZK 1,990 or more.

Note 2: The battery warranty is always the same as that provided by the manufacturer (usually 1-2 years, but some only offer six months).

Note 3: The extended warranty does not apply to Garmin, Suunto, Coros, Festina Connected D, and Tissot Touch Collection brands.

Note 4: The statutory 30-day repair period does not apply to extended warranties.

Note 5: Battery replacement is subject to a fee under the extended warranty and must be carried out by Helveti service.

Note 6: Under the extended warranty, if the defect is irreparable, we will not refund your money, but you will receive a voucher from us (for the price of the original watch).

Note 7: We also provide a 5-year extended warranty on luxury pens from Parker, Waterman, and Lamy, i.e., pens from these brands priced above CZK 1,500.
