At Helveti s.r.o. (the operator of the Helveti.cz e-shop), we consider the protection and confidentiality of your personal data to be very important. To ensure maximum security, we use advanced techniques in both electronic and physical form. Whether it is sophisticated IT systems or security rules for handling data. It goes without saying that regular backups of data are thus protected in the event of a service outage or an IT equipment crash. We process your personal data in accordance with legislation, in particular with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

We therefore pay due attention to personal data and their protection. Through this document, we would like to provide you with all the necessary information about how we handle your personal data, as well as the rights you have in connection with their processing.

Personal data manager

The manager of personal data is the company Helveti s.r.o., established and existing under the law of the Czech Republic, with its registered office at Vítkova 244/8, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, IČ 243 104 76, registered in the commercial register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 194761 ("The Helveti").

Privacy Policy

When processing personal data, Helveti is bound by the following principles in particular:

  1. personal data must be processed correctly and in a legal and transparent manner;
  2. personal data may only be collected for specific, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes, and may not be further processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes;
  3. personal data may only be processed to the extent necessary in relation to the purpose in question;
  4. when processing personal data, it is necessary to take into account it's accuracy;
  5. personal data may only be kept for the necessary time; and
  6. personal data must be processed under appropriate security.

Categories of processed personal data

In particular, Helveti processes the following categories of personal data:

  1. identification data, e.g. name, surname;
  2. contact details, e.g. address, email, telephone;
  3. your order history;
  4. cookie files (see point "Cookies" below).

Legal basis for personal data processing

Helveti processes your personal data on the basis of the following legal titles:

  1. performance of the contract between Helveti and you pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR;
  2. legitimate interest (in particular sending commercial messages) according to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) GDPR;
  3. in some cases, we may also ask you for consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a) GDPR.

Purposes of personal data processing

Helveti processes personal data mainly for the following purposes:

  1. the processing of your order and the performance of rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and Helveti;
  2. marketing activities, especially sending commercial messages.

Obligation to provide personal data

When ordering, personal data is required, which is necessary for its successful processing. The provision of this personal data is a necessary requirement for the conclusion and performance of the contract. Without them, it is not possible to conclude a contract with Helveti.

However, you are not obliged to provide personal data whose processing is based on consent. If you refuse to give this consent, this will have no effect on the conclusion of the contract.

Obligation to provide personal data

We store personal data at Helveti:

  1. for the time necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and Helveti and to assert claims from these contractual relationships, if the processing is based on a legal title according to point 4 letter a;
  2. until your right to object is exercised, if the processing is based on a legal title according to point 4 letter b.;
  3. for the period specified in the relevant consent, or until this consent is revoked, if the processing is based on a legal title according to point 4 letter c.

After the specified period, Helveti is obliged to delete your personal data.

Category of recipients of personal data

Your personal data is transferred to the recipients for the purpose of the proper performance of the contract between you and Helveti. Such recipients are mainly delivery companies. Other recipients may be entities that provide us with marketing services (e.g. sending newsletters, product comparators), accounting services and cloud services. In these cases, your personal data is transferred only to the extent strictly necessary. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union.

Your rights

You are always the primary holder of personal data, and therefore you have the following rights in relation to your personal data, which are specified in more detail by the GDPR:

  1. the right to access personal data according to Article 15 GDPR,
  2. the right to correction according to Article 16 GDPR,
  3. the right to erasure according to Article 17 GDPR (the so-called right to be forgotten),
  4. the right to limit processing according to Article 18 GDPR,
  5. the right to data portability according to Article 20 GDPR,
  6. the right to object according to Article 21 GDPR (especially in the case of direct marketing),
  7. the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time in writing or electronically to our address or email, and
  8. the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that your rights have been violated.

Cookies

For the website to function properly, it is sometimes necessary to place small data files, known as cookies, on your device. Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer or mobile device when you start using the website. In this way, the website remembers some information about your visit for a certain period of time (e.g. login data, language, etc.). Cookies serve a variety of purposes. Final Provisions

By submitting an order from the order form, you confirm that you are familiar with the Information on the processing of personal data.

Helveti is entitled to unilaterally change the Information on the processing of personal data. We will publish any new versions on our website and at the same time send them to the e-mail address you provided.
