The case and bracelet of the Formex Essence Ceramica COSC Dark Matter watch are made of ceramic, which is seven times harder than steel and one-third lighter. The case features a screw-down crown and the patented Case Suspension System, housed in a titanium casing. Compared to the previous generation, it features a redesigned construction that has increased the power reserve from 41 to 65 hours without reducing the frequency. The movement thus continues to operate at a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour (4 Hz), which contributes to high accuracy and stability.
Of course, the movement includes crown winding, a hacking function to stop the seconds hand when setting the time, and a date display at the 6 o’clock position. 

The ceramic bracelet features a folding clasp with integrated micro-adjustment. This is the world’s first ceramic clasp with this feature. The size can be adjusted in 1.5 mm increments over a total range of 5 mm without having to remove the watch from the wrist. Thanks to the quick-release system, the bracelet can be easily replaced without the use of tools. Alternatively, you can purchase leather, rubber, or nylon straps from the Formex Essence collection for this watch, featuring a folding carbon buckle with micro-adjustment within a 7 mm range. You can easily adjust the length by pressing the side button without having to remove the watch from your wrist.
