The Formex Essence Ceramica COSC Dégradé 0336.4.6624.410 is a modern take on the sporty and elegant watch with an emphasis on top-quality materials and precision workmanship. At first glance, it impresses with its all-ceramic design and iconic dial with horizontal milling, which creates a distinctive depth effect and an interesting effect in the light. Aesthetically and technically, this is a model that pushes the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The case and bracelet of the Formex Essence Ceramica COSC Dégradé are made of ceramic, which is seven times harder than steel and a third lighter. This material won't scratch or fade and thus looks great even after long-term wear. The combination of cut and diamond-polished surfaces gives the watch a sophisticated and modern character.

The case is equipped with a screw-down crown and the patented Case Suspension System, housed in a titanium case. Its function is to absorb shocks while enhancing the wearing pleasure by partially adjusting the case to the wrist as it moves. Despite this technology, the height of the case is only 11.2 mm. The 41 mm diameter fits most men's wrists. The water resistance of the watch is 100 m (10 ATM), guaranteeing the possibility of universal use.

The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, improving readability in direct light and ensuring scratch resistance. The hour positions are fitted with applied faceted indices which, like the hands, have alternating polished and brushed surfaces. The overall impression is enhanced by the sensitively designed date indicator at the 6 o'clock position with a wreath in the colour of the dial. The luminescence (BGW9 Super-LumiNova) on the hands and indexes ensures better legibility in low-light conditions. Sapphire is also used for the open caseback, through which the decorated movement with blued screws can be admired.

The watch is powered by the Soprod Newton P092 calibre, specially adapted for Formex. This mechanical movement with automatic winding and a precision of -4/+6 s/day achieves a power reserve of 44 hours. In addition, each piece undergoes rigorous Chronofiable® stress testing and then COSC certification to ISO 3159. The machine has, of course, the option of manual winding, hacking and excellent shock resistance thanks to the double-arm inertia bridge.

The ceramic bracelet is finished with a fold-over clasp with integrated micro-adjustment. This is the first ceramic clasp with this feature in the world. The size can be adjusted in 1.5mm increments over a total range of 5mm without removing the watch from the wrist. Thanks to the quick release system, the bracelet can be easily replaced without tools. Alternatively, straps made of leather, rubber or nylon can be purchased from the Formex Essence collection with a folding carbon buckle with micro-adjustment in the range of 7 mm. The length can also be easily adjusted at the touch of a side button without removing the watch from the wrist.
