The case of the Formex Essence Leggera 41 Forged Carbon watch is a combination of carbon and ceramic. The base of the case is made entirely of carbon and is complemented by a black ceramic bezel with striking reflections. This combination creates a highly durable watch that shows no visible scratches, even after prolonged use.
The case is equipped with an innovative integrated Case Suspension System, which helps protect the movement from shocks and enhances wearing comfort by allowing the case to partially adapt to the wrist during movement. Despite this technological enhancement, the watch is only 11 mm thick. The case is complemented by a black rubber strap featuring a folding clasp with an innovative system for fine micro-adjustment within a range of up to 7 mm.
The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200-2 Power+ (Chronometer Grade) self-winding mechanical movement with COSC certification and a power reserve of approximately 65 hours. The movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour, features winding via the crown, a hacking function to stop the seconds hand when setting the time, and a date display at the 6 o’clock position.
The watch is water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM). With a case diameter of 41 mm, the watch fits perfectly on most men’s wrists.

The easy-to-read dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. Sapphire is also used for the case back, through which you can observe the movement of the decorated mechanism with blued screws. Better readability in low-light conditions is ensured by luminescent material (BGW9 Super-LumiNova) applied to the hands and hour markers. It is precisely the carbon-fiber dial and the high-gloss hour markers that create a very interesting effect. The overall impression is enhanced by the thoughtfully designed date window at the 6 o’clock position , featuring a ring in the same color as the dial. Interestingly, thanks to the manufacturing process, each dial is unique and features an original pattern. You’ll especially appreciate the watch’s versatility; its combination of features makes it ideal for sports, water activities, and everyday use.
