Swiss watch Mido Multifort Automatic GMT M005.929.36.031.00 will win its owners especially with its universal look and precise workmanship. This makes it a great companion especially for everyday wear.
The Mido M005.929.36.031.00 watch has a case made of 316L stainless steel with a rose gold PVD finish. This is suitably complemented by a leather strap. In the case, the Swiss mechanical movement Mido Caliber 1193 (based on ETA 2892-2) with automatic winding ticks reliably. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, has 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. Travellers will find the GMT function - i.e. a second time zone indicator in the form of a fourth hand - useful. In addition, it is a so-called True GMT, where the GMT hand moves with the time setting and the adjustment of the main hour hand then takes place in leaps of one hour, while the home time on the GMT hand remains unchanged. At the 3 o'clock position we find a handy date indicator. The operation of this movement can be observed through a transparent pin. At the 3 o'clock position we find a practical date indicator. The internal bi-directional GMT lunette, operated by the crown at the 2 o'clock position, is used to display the next time zone.
The clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that guarantees maximum scratch resistance. A double-sided anti-reflective coating then delivers perfect legibility even in bright sunlight. The water resistance of this model is 100m (10 Bar), so it can handle even greater contact with water, such as swimming. The water resistance is supported by a screw-in crown.
