How to create a perfect symbiosis between modernity and tradition? Do it like Alexander Shorokhoff and combine modern, cool plaid design with quality, sophisticated craftsmanship.
The number "3" in the watch's name symbolizes the three different layers of metal used to make the dial, giving it a skeletal look: silver, yellow gold plating, pink gold plating. All three "checkered grids" are interconnected to create a harmonious, translucent checkered pattern in an interesting 3D look. The blue hands stand out perfectly in colour from the dial and clearly show the time.
Another important part of this model is the partially skeletonized and hand-engraved chronograph movement. The intricate skeletonization and engraving of such a movement takes a skilled engraver several days. The three bridges on the upper plate of the movement, which can be seen through the checkered pattern, have filigree hand engraving in sunray. These are contradictory to the checkered pattern and create the necessary contrast with the blue IP plating.
The Alexander Shorokhoff Karo 3 AS.C01-KR02L watch has a stopwatch function. The bottom button returns the seconds hand to its original position. Even the trademark large numeral "60" must not be missed with this model. It marks 60 minutes of one hour and the revolutionary period of the 1960s. All the hands are gilded in yellow gold and, together with the hour applications on the outer ring of the dial, make it easy to read the time. Overall, the new model evokes a sense of modernity combined with traditional craftsmanship. It looks modern, yet elegant and well-crafted.
The watch was produced in a limited edition of 29 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
