Alexander Shorokhoff has already impressed with his first version of a full calendar called Mercury, a special watch that displays the date, day of the week and month in addition to the current time. Unlike the simple date display, which only shows the current date, the full calendar offers a more comprehensive date function.
Now comes the second colour variant, which doesn't differ much from the first variant, only some details have changed in colour. For example, the dial has an impressive look in elegant silver, which is enhanced by gold accents and luminescent hour indexes. The name Mercury was inspired by the planet of the same name in our solar system. Its cratered surface, reminiscent of the moon, harmoniously fits in with the design of the new model.
The day of the month is shown by the central red-tipped hand on the golden date scale, while the day of the week and the moon are displayed in windows at 12 o'clock.
The new"Full Calendar Mercury" also offers an additional feature, which is the display of the current phase of the moon at 6. It shows us what the moon looks like in the sky and what phase it is in. This feature has been designed as a display of the Moon in the form of a small disc that moves slowly during the month, showing the different phases of the Moon.
The case of the Alexander Shorokhoff Merkur 2 AS.VK-MKR2 is made of stainless steel. Inside is the automatic calibre DD9000 by Dubois Depraz, whose hand-engraved and decorated rotor embodies the essence of craftsmanship. With its blue screws and 25 stones adorning the movement, it is a true expression of precision and elegance. The power reserve is 42 hours. With a limited production of just 31 pieces, the new model is a true rarity.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
