The journey of Model Home, an extremely unique watch project created with watch blogger and content creator Florian Bach, also known as "flomp89", continues! After the highly successful debut of the eponymous model, Florian and Inga, daughter of Alexander Shorokhov, have already been working on a successor. They have taken into account the many wishes of their customers and have created a new version called Home 2.

The historical background and inspiration of this model, drawn from Hundertwasser's architectural works, remains. However, the heart will also be glad to see some changes to the colour scheme. The new Home 2 model continues to embody the slightly quirky and artistic theme of architecture, all in the style of Alexander Shorokhoff. The colourful geometric shapes have been individually crafted and at the same time harmoniously presented as a "house application" against the greenish shimmering background of the dial. The green tone is meant to evoke the theme of environmental protection, which Hundertwasser passionately advocated.

The guilloche patterns seem to divide the dial into two parts: the waves at the top remind us of the sky, the cubes at the bottom remind us of tiles. However, it is the coloured houses in the middle of the dial that catch the eye. These have been created using cold enamel and mother-of-pearl inlays. The small blue star applique at 10 o'clock and the arrow applique at 1 o'clock are reminiscent of the starry sky above the "roofs" of the houses.

New elements include white lacquered hands with black decorative lines, which greatly improve legibility and stand out clearly from the dial. The seconds hand glows rose gold and complements the hour applications and the great hallmark of the Alexander Shorokhoff manufacture, the distinctive numeral sixty.

The rectangular case is made of stainless steel, while the side recesses of the central part are decorated with green enamel. The case back is equally unusual, featuring four small round glass windows in three different avant-garde colours - red, yellow and blue. With its dimensions of 41 x 41 millimetres, it fits almost seamlessly on any wrist.

The watch is powered by an ETA 2892 Swiss automatic movement with a hand-engraved and refined rotor, blue screws and 21 jewels. Its power reserve is approximately 47 hours.

Three strap options are available for this model, which customers can choose according to their preference. The first option offers a high-quality green rubber strap with a folding buckle. The second and third options are more elegantly designed and come with either a black stingray leather strap or a grey ostrich leather strap.

Limited to just 10 pieces, this extraordinary automatic watch represents exclusivity and another successful collaboration between two creative personalities.

The manufacturer reserves the right to change the strap colour. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.
