Experiencing the transition from rectangular to round symbolizes the adaptability and creativity inherent in Alexander Shorokhoff and is also reflected in the new Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Sport AS.KD02-SPS4. In the simplicity of the phrase "Square Becomes Round" lies the message that even the impossible becomes possible when one embraces change and transformation.
Thanks to the design of the round dial in the rectangular case, the two shapes form a perfect symbiosis. The black dial with an inlay of orange and blue mother-of-pearl puts the emphasis squarely on the sporty and creative design of the Kandy Sport watch dial.
While the light blue mother-of-pearl ring offers a clear and sporty division, the orange mother-of-pearl ring presents an interesting, highly creative and avant-garde representation of the watch. For example, the number four is represented in four parts of a triangle and the number eight is expressed in Roman numerals. There really is a lot to discover. The hour and minute hands have a white luminescent material for a clear reading of the time even in the dark, and the seconds hand is orange, emphasizing the sporty look.
The rectangular stainless steel case, coated in black PVD and with side cut-outs with orange enamel, embodies modernity and sportiness. Equally unique is the watch face, which features four small round glass windows in three different avant-garde colours - red, yellow and blue. With dimensions of 41 x 41 millimetres, it fits easily on any wrist.
The Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Sport AS.KD02-SPS4 is powered by a high-quality Swiss automatic ETA 2892 movement with a hand-engraved and refined rotor, blued screws and 21 jewels. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 47 hours.
The extra-soft black calf leather strap, complete with an engraved stainless steel fixed buckle and metal emblem with QR logo, underlines the sporty look of the model. With a limited edition of just 31 pieces, this watch is undoubtedly another captivating collector's piece within the Avantgarde range.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the strap colour. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
