The Vostok Europe Expedition SAHARA "Route of Tuaregs" 6S10-598A753 was created in collaboration with VE brand ambassador, extreme motorcycle adventurer Karolis Mieliauskas. The model was tested by Karolis himself during the gruelling 2500km off-road motorcycle expedition "Route of the Tuaregs" across the dusty and temperature-challenged terrain of the Sahara Desert and proved its ability to withstand the heat, dust and harsh conditions of one of the most extreme environments on Earth.
The watch is built on the new Expedition case design with a slim and sleek bi-directional rotating lunette with compass markers. Inspired by the navigational methods of the Tuareg, the watch allows the wearer to navigate the desert using the sun, lunette scale and hands. Engraved on the back of the case are instructions on how to use the watch as a compass, emphasizing its role as a tool for the true explorer.
The design palette reflects the Sahara itself: the warm sandy hues of the desert landscape contrast with dark black accents that pay homage to the traditional dress of the Tuareg people. The sandblasted and brushed finish of the case is reminiscent of surfaces shaped by wind and sand. At the same time, the rugged construction provides dust and water resistance of 20 ATM (200m) to protect against desert storms, heat and extreme conditions. Water resistance is supported by a screw-in crown.
The case of the Vostok Europe Expedition SAHARA "Route of Tuaregs" 6S10-598A753 is made of stainless steel with a black rotating lunette. Inside is a Japanese Miyota 6S10 battery movement . At the position between 5 and 6 o'clock there is a handy date indicator. The watch is also equipped with a stopwatch function with a minute counter at the 9 position.
The sand dial is protected by a hardened K1 mineral crystal with an internal anti-reflective treatment. Hands and indices are coated with Superluminova luminescent coating. Its 48 mm diameter makes it an ideal choice for fans of larger watches.
Two straps are included in each package: the black silicone strap is ideal for comfort, durability and active use in extreme conditions, while the textile strap offers a fusion with traditional materials and a rugged aesthetic that complements the desert-inspired design. This combination allows wearers to customize their watch for both functional expeditions and everyday wear.
The Expedition SAHARA "Route of Tuaregs" 6S10-598A753 comes in a durable VE DryBox L case that is designed to be shock, dust and water resistant. This protective packaging accentuates the DNA of a ready-to-ship watch and provides maximum security during transport and storage.
