The German Junghans Meister Fein Automatic Limited Edition Erhard 27/9301.00 from the Meister series bears a legacy from the first half of the 20th century, as watches designed by Anton Ziegler were produced in a similar style between the 1930s and 1960s. Today, the watch returns to the range enhanced with modern technology! This exceptional piece has been produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Junghans in a limited edition of 200 pieces for the whole world.
The Junghans Meister Fein Automatic Limited Edition Erhard 27/9301.00 is equipped with the J800.1 self-winding movement, which is based on the Swiss ETA 2824 variant. The manufacturer incorporates it into the watch in an Elaboré finish with enhanced shock protection (Incabloc), a tuned maximum daily deviation of +/- 14 seconds, and the likeness of founder Erhard Junghans on the rotor. The power reserve is up to 38 hours. This beautifully decorated movement can be observed thanks to its transparent sapphire crystal dial. The case of this model is made of 18-Kt yellow gold and is complemented by an elegant leather strap with a gold buckle. The retro Junghans logo from 1910 on the dial provides the perfect illusion of old times.
The dial, which gives an elegant impression thanks to the subtly crafted hands, is protected by a convex sapphire crystal that is extremely scratch-resistant. The anti-reflective coating ensures good legibility even in bright sunlight. Thedate display is located at the 3 o'clock position. The water resistance of this watch is 30 metres (3 ATM) - so it can withstand basic contact with water, which can be compared to rain, for example.
Erhard Junghans was born on 1 January 1823 in the Black Forest and this limited edition was produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth. That is why this unique piece is available in only 200 pieces for the whole world. Already during his apprenticeship at the straw hat factory in Schramberg, he showed entrepreneurial talent and quickly became a partner and managing director. In 1859, Junghans went into business with his brother-in-law Jakob Zeller-Tobler and founded Junghans in 1861.
