The German Junghans 1972 Mega Solar 56/4210.00 from the Performance series revives the style of the 1970s combined with modern technology. In the watch we can find a reference to 1972, when Junghans was the official timekeeper of the Summer Olympics in Munich.
The Junghans 1972 Mega Solar 56/4210.00 is equipped with a solar-powered in-house movement J615.84 with radio signal reception function. According to it, the time can be adjusted automatically every day on three continents. Europe, Asia and North America. So you can rely on the maximum accuracy of your watch in this territory. Thanks to the solar power, the watch is a relatively carefree affair for the user for a long time with many added features. The running reserve on a full charge is up to 21 months. After 72 hours, when the watch is left out of the light, it goes into sleep mode to save the stored energy. In addition, Junghans is one of the pioneers in the production of solar and radio-controlled watches. It boasts the distinction of having produced the world's first radio-controlled wristwatch in 1990!
The Junghans 56/4210.00 has a dial protected by a sapphire crystal that is extremely scratch-resistant. The 43.3 mm case is made of stainless steel. Thanks to its water resistance of 10 ATM (100 metres ), the watch can also handle contact with water, such as swimming.
