The Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical Green Optic 010-02293-04 sports watch is the ideal choice for athletes of all abilities. Its features can be used not only in sports but also in everyday wear. This watch meets military standard (MIL-STD-810G) for resistance to high and low temperatures, shock and vibration, water and moisture. In addition, this variant features a solar-charging glass. This version is compatible with night vision devices, dual coordinate format and Jumpmaster function.
The case of the Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical Green Optic GPS smart watch 010-02293-04 is made of hardened polymer. Inside this case works a module with a lot of functions, useful mainly during sports. The watch allows you to record and navigate along a pre-defined route, which it displays on a so-called blind map including waypoints. You will be able to see the route profile, direction of movement, important points, distance reached and remaining, etc.
The water resistance of this model is 100 m (10 ATM ) and it can therefore handle even greater contact with water, such as swimming. The comfortable silicone strap features a QuickFit® attachment system that allows for quick, tool-free replacement. The black and white display is protected by Power Glass™, which is a solar-charged Gorilla Glass. The display diameter is 23 mm and the resolution is 128 x 128 pixels.
The Tactical version has all the features and functions of the Instinct series and brings some extra ones, especially useful for members of the military and armed forces. This is, for example, a function to quickly turn on or off the night vision mode or the so-called stealth mode (stealth mode) - its activation immediately disables all wireless data transmissions and the storage and sharing of location information - in this mode the watch is still able to display the position/coordinates on the display, but does not record them, so that it can not be accidentally disclosed, for example, during a military mission or training in a secret location. The watch is capable of displaying the position information in dual coordinate format, i.e. also in Military Grid Reference System ( MGRS) format. Last but not least, in addition to sport activity profiles, it also brings profiles for tactical activities and Jumpmaster for skydiving.
