The Bulova Accutron Spaceview 2020 2ES6A008 RedBar Limited Edition is a limited edition created in collaboration with the RedBar Group, an organization that brings together watch fans, enthusiasts and collectors in small organizations around the world.
Accutron and the RedBar Group have teamed up to celebrate the revolutionary technology of the electrostatic-powered movement with its completely smooth running seconds hand, which was a groundbreaking achievement for the Accutron brand. The design of the Accutron Spaceview 2020 was chosen for the limited edition, which was behind the revival of the brand and its official return to store shelves. Inspired by the collector community, the limited edition is rendered in RedBar colours. A special caseback also references the RedBar connection. It is available in just 60 pieces worldwide. The limited edition comes in a special package with a leather strap and an extra tool for replacement.
The Accutron Spaceview 2020 is a unique watch that is once again ahead of its time, featuring a custom, electrostatic-powered movement with an intricately designed stepper motor system. A great detail is the rotors of the electrostatic motors that generate the energy and take the form of turbine blades. The 28-stone electrostatic movement is designated NS30-Y8A. The movements for the Accutron models are manufactured at the Miyota factory in Nagano Prefecture, Japan (Miyota is part of the Citizen Group, as is the Bulova brand). The movements are assembled under special conditions in a dust-free and temperature-controlled environment. Electrostatic energy is used to ensure the smooth running of the seconds hand and the battery-powered movement as a whole, while the minute and hour hands are powered by two conventional stepper motors.
An unnoticeable element of the watch is its dial, which is formed by a view of the movement. The circumference of the dial is a circle with minute markings. The basic smoke grey bravura of the dial is complemented by red - the official colour of RedBar. The dial is protected by a convex sapphire crystal. The watch's steel case is complemented by a well-fitting seven-row steel bracelet, and a black leather strap with contrasting red stitching and reverse is also included. A strap changing tool is also included. The diameter of the watch case is 43.5mm. The water resistance of the watch is, given its purpose, a sufficient 50 m.
The watch is equipped with a power-saving function: the seconds hand automatically stops at the 12 o'clock position after 5 minutes of inactivity. The watch still keeps the exact time, the hour and minute hands are still moving. To start the seconds hand, move the watch for 3 to 5 seconds.
Thelimited edition is limited to only 60 pieces. The watch comes in a special box with a leather strap and strap changing tool.

He managed to build a large watch manufactory, which became famous all over the world mainly for its innovations (e.g. tuning watches) or for the production of watches that reached the moon. The story of the Bulova brand begins in 1875 and has its roots in Bohemia. The founder was a Czech native Josef Bulova, who founded the J. Bulova Company in New York. He managed to build a large watch factory. In 1912, production was moved to Biel, Switzerland. In addition to the development of technological innovations, the company also scored in the field of marketing. She was the first to use television commercials.
Bulova achieved the greatest success in the development of electronically powered watches. The highlight was the introduction of a system with a tuner called Bulova Accutron. Another astronaut, David Scott, took care of another legendary moment. During the Apollo 15 mission, he took the Bulova Chronograph watch for a walk on the moon.
