The Baume & Mercier Riviera Azur M0A10717 has a sapphire transparent dial in smoky grey, revealing a glimpse into the watch's interior. The distinctive luminescent hands and embossed indices at the hour positions ensure clarity. The watch is powered by the in-house-made Baumatic BM13-1975A mechanical movement with an impressive power reserve of 120 hours. The self-winding movement with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour offers a crown winding option, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking) and a date at the half past five position.
The unmistakable dial is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is also anti-reflective, ensuring excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. Sapphire has also been used for the caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed.
The steel case of the watch is complemented by a three-row steel bracelet finished with a butterfly clasp. The bracelet is also equipped with a quick-release system, making it very easy to change without tools.
Super-LumiNova luminescence on the hands and indices ensures better legibility in low light conditions and underwater. The water resistance of this model is 300 m. Even with the unidirectional rotating counting lunette and screw-down crown and its protection by the case, the model does not deny its purpose. The diameter of the case is 42 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists. The watch will please with an extended warranty of 8 years.
