Baume & Mercier Riviera 10721 Skeleton is the men's version of the iconic sporty-chic Riviera watch. The design does not deny its predecessor, first launched in 1973. Apart from the characteristic shape of the case, the most striking feature of the Riviera models is the dial - here it presents itself in a skeletonised design, opening up a glimpse into the inner workings of the movement. Its distinctive look makes it a great choice for a sporty and elegant men's watch.

This watch is a masterpiece of modern design inspired by the minimalist lines of Mediterranean architecture. It is a tribute to the beauty and power of simplicity, which is also honoured by the Baume & Mercier brand, whose watches have excelled in combining form and function since their inception.
The dial allows us to admire the hidden nooks and cogs of the movement, revealing its beauty to us in the same way that the picturesque streets of Mediterranean cities reveal themselves to us as we wander. The black colour of the dial evokes a glimpse of a shimmering city at night, where life pulses even under the cover of darkness, and recalls the eternal fusion of art and technology inherent in the Riviera collection.

The Baume & Mercier Riviera M0A10721 has a cut-out black dial with a brushed finish complemented by skeletonised hands with luminescent lugs. A minute scale with highlighted hour points on the outer perimeter of the dial ensures easy orientation. A black anodised aluminium insert has been placed in the centre of the case, adding sparkle to the watch. The watch is powered by a self-winding Sellita AMT2500 mechanical movement with a power reserve of around 38 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a crown winding option and a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking).
The unmistakable dial is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is also anti-reflective, ensuring excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. Sapphire has also been used for the caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed.
The finely brushed steel case is complemented by a black rubber strap with a canvas pattern, finished with a butterfly clasp. It is the integrated strap, the 4 functional ADLC-coated screws in the lunette and the satin-finished case surface that support the sporty touch of the watch. In addition, the strap is equipped with a quick-release system, which makes possible replacement very easy even without tools. Better legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by the Super-LumiNova luminescence located on the hands. The water resistance of this model is 100 m. The diameter of the case is 42 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists.

The models from the Riviera collection are instantly recognisable thanks to the 12-sided lunette with four screws, referring to the design of the Riviera sports steel models first introduced by the brand in 1973.
