The Baume & Mercier Classima 10874 represents a new generation of elegant men’s watches that builds on the tradition of Swiss watchmaking and offers a contemporary interpretation of it. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and an emphasis on precise details make them the ideal accessory not only for a suit but also for everyday wear.
The Baume & Mercier Classima M0A10874 model features a minimalist silvery-white opaline dial that plays on the harmony of contrasts. Black Roman numerals alternate with subtle hour markers, and the design is complemented by ruthenium-plated leaf-shaped hands. The overall design is clean and timeless, and even the date window at the 3 o’clock position does not detract from it. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with high scratch resistance.
The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200 mechanical self-winding movement. It offers a power reserve of 38 hours and features manual winding, a hacking function (which stops the seconds hand for time setting), and a date display. The movement’s frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The solid case back offers ample space for engraving, allowing the watch to take on a personal touch and become an exceptional gift for a significant life event.
The polished steel case, with a diameter of 40 mm, is complemented by a black calfskin strap with an embossed pattern imitating alligator skin, finished with a pin buckle. Thanks to the quick-release system, the strap can be easily changed without tools, allowing the watch to be effortlessly adapted to various occasions.
Witha case height of just 9 mm, the watch looks elegant and fits easily under a shirt cuff. The low profile also contributes to high comfort during everyday wear.
The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters, which is more than sufficient for everyday contact with water, such as rain or washing your hands.
