The Baume & Mercier Classima 10525 offers a clean and elegant design and classic look, making it a great choice for an elegant men's watch to complement a suit. However, its set of features also makes it suitable for everyday wear.
The Baume & Mercier Classima M0A10525 has a simple silver dial with a structured centre and silver embossed indices alternating with Roman numerals at the hour positions. The whole is suitably complemented by the exquisite blue leaf hands on a light background.
The dial is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Sapphire has also been used for the caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed.
The watch is powered by a self-winding Sellita SW200 mechanical movement with a power reserve of around 38 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a winding crown, a stop-seconds function when setting the time(hacking) and a flywheel and an anchor with a stepping wheel at 12 o'clock.
The watch case is complemented by a versatile and practical five-row steel bracelet finished with a butterfly clasp. The bracelet is equipped with a quick-release system, making possible replacement very easy without the use of tools.
The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The diameter of the case is 42 mm, making the watch a great choice for individuals with larger wrists, but it fits well on most average men's wrists.
