The Baume & Mercier Classima 10480 offers a clean and elegant design and classic look, making it a great choice for an elegant men's watch to complement a suit. However, its set of features also makes it suitable for everyday wear.

The Baume & Mercier Classima M0A10480 has a simple blue dial with a structured centre and silver embossed indices alternating with Roman numerals at the hour positions. The whole is suitably complemented by elegant silver leaf hands. An interesting element of the dial is the off-centre seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with high scratch resistance. Sapphire has also been used for the caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed.
The watch is powered by a self-winding Sellita SW260-1 mechanical movement with a power reserve of around 38 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a crown winding function, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking) and a date at the 3 o'clock position. The use of a dark wreath background for the date display is pleasing.
The steel case of the watch is complemented by a black alligator strap, finished with a butterfly clasp. The strap is equipped with a quick-release system, making it very easy to change without tools.

The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The diameter of the case is 42mm, making the watch a great choice for individuals with larger wrists, but it fits well on most men's wrists. With a case height of just 10mm, the watch is easy to hide under a cuff.
