The Czech watch brand Robot was founded in 2018 out of a passion for precise craftsmanship, the beauty of mechanics, respect for craftsmanship and the rich Czech history in the field of design and industry, and last but not least, out of a desire to continue these values ​​and create a product with Czech roots. Inspired by the moment in 1921 when Karel Čapek first used the word “robot”, it created watches that connect the legacy of Czech craftsmanship with innovation.

Robot watch production is located right in the heart of Czech watchmaking, Nové Město nad Metují, where they are created in the Bohematic manufactory. It is here, under the hands of passionate designers, designers and watchmakers, that Czech watches are created, fitted with high-quality Swiss mechanical movements by La Joux-Perret.

The brand’s goal is not to produce hundreds of thousands of watches per year. Production is small-scale, with a high proportion of manual labor and an emphasis on detail. It also allows the customer a high degree of product customization.
Watchmaking at Bohematic is perceived as a craft that combines art, design and precision engineering technologies. In other words, industries in which Czechs have achieved international fame.

Robot isn't just about watches, but also about stories. Each model line is design-related and connected to Czech personalities, history or products. The brand's offer does not include a wide range of models, but a selection of designs inspired by Czech history and industry, which cover all conceivable everyday needs and can also offer something extra in the form of originality and detailed workmanship.
