The German Junghans Meister Chronoscope 027/4526.01 watch from the Meister line bears a legacy from the first half of the 20th century, as watches designed by then-designer Anton Ziegler were produced in a similar style between the 1930s and 1960s. Today, the watches are returning to the range enhanced with modern technology!
The Junghans Meister Chronoscope 027/4526.01 is equipped with the J880.1 self-winding movement, which is based on the famous Swiss variant of the ETA Valjoux 7750. The manufacturer puts it in an Elaboré finish with increased shock protection (Incabloc), tuned maximum daily deviation to +/- 14 seconds, or the Junghans logo on the rotor. The power reserve is up to 48 hours. In terms of watch functions, the movement offers stopwatch, date display and day of the week display. For the stopwatch, we have a central seconds hand and sub-dials at 6 and 12 o'clock, where we find a 12-hour and 30-minute counter, respectively.
The dial, which makes an elegant impression thanks to the subtly crafted hands, is cprotectedby a convex plastic glass with special Sicralan protection. This provides increased protection of the glass against scratches, UV rays and at the same time ensures its greater shine. Water resistance is 30 meters (3 ATM) - so they can withstand minor contact with water, which can be compared to, for example, washing hands.
This version has a day-of-the-week display in English, for a day-of-the-week display in German order the reference 027/4526.00.
A version with sapphire crystal can be supplied at extra cost.
