Likewise, when we encounter problems or make a mistake, we often wish we could wipe the slate clean and start over. Historiador Retrógrado satisfies these desires. It features an unusual date indicator that has the ability to go back in time.
The case of the Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Retrogrado 3194 is made of stainless steel. Inside is a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding CYS 6330 (the base is a Soprod 9094 with an ETA 2892-A2 module). It is fitted with 30 jewels and the power reserve is 42 hours. Thanks to the transparent dial, we can enjoy the operation of the movement.
The transparent dial is made in silver colour. The hour and minute hands are coated with Superluminova luminescent coating. The retrograde date indicator, which gives the model its name, is located at the 3 position. At position 9 we find the day of the week indicator and at the bottom at 6 we find the power reserve indicator. Everything is protected by a double rounded sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
Thanks to the 40 mm case diameter, the Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Retrogrado 3194 fits most men's wrists. It is complemented by a colour-matching leather strap. Water resistance is set at 3 ATM, so the watch can handle lighter contact with water, for example when washing hands.
