Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to the first official Formula One World Champion "Nino" Farina, who won the title in 1950. The Historiador Nino Farina II follows the highly acclaimed first limited edition, which sold out in a very short time. It is an elegant vintage chronograph, limited to 158 pieces, inspired by the historic race and in the colours of the iconic Alfa Romeo brand, but made for a modern audience.

"Nino Farina was a man of courage that bordered on the improbable. Capable of daring stunts that were often his winning move. A great driver, but one you always had to be wary of." - These are the words Enzo Ferrari used to describe Emilio Giuseppe Farina, also known as "Nino".

The case of the Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Nino Farina II 3144.1NF is made of stainless steel. Inside is a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding CYS 8129 (the base is ETA 2894). It operates at a frequency of 28800 A/h, is fitted with 37 jewels and boasts a power reserve of 42 hours. We can enjoy the machine's operation thanks to the transparent dial, which is also decorated with Nin's signature.

The clear dial refers to the Alfa Romeo 158 car in its design. The minute and hour hands of the chronograph are red like the colour of the car's exterior, while the central seconds hand and the tachymeter section in the top right corner are green like a four-leaf clover: Alfa Romeo's historical symbol. Instead of the number 6, the date window is located at this position. All protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.

Thanks to its 40 mm case diameter, the Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Nino Farina II 3144.1NF fits most men's wrists. The watch comes with a matte brown calfskin strap, made in "racing style" with light blue stitching. It features numerous perforations, a detail inspired by racing gloves of yesteryear. Water resistance is set at 5 ATM, so the watch can handle lighter contact with water, for example when washing hands.
