The Citizen Satellite Wave CC3079-11E men's watch impresses at first glance with its slightly extravagant design. However, features such as the Eco-Drive, which provides power through light energy, make them the ideal companion for everyday use. Lovers of absolutely accurate time or travelers will appreciate controlling the watch using the GPS signal.
The watch Citizen CC3079-11E has a case made of stainless steel with PVD finish (in this case it is IP technology) and sticks on the hand thanks to a silicone strap. Inside the case is the in-house Citizen F150 movement, which features a light rechargeable battery with a power reserve of up to 2 years (up to 7 years in power saving mode) and also has a low battery indicator function. Thanks to the Eco-Drive the need for regular battery replacement is eliminated - the watch battery is recharged by light. With this system are associated with other functions of the watch, such as overcharging protection, indication of the charge level, indication of the intensity of the incident light - the resolution of the intensity of charging in 7 levels. The main advantage is then GPS satellite time control, where the time changes according to the position based on the received signals and the possibility of time indication in 40 time zones and 27 cities. A useful feature is also the infinite calendar, ensuring that the date is always current on the date indicator at position 3 and the day of the week indicator on the sub-dial at position 8.
The structured dial, on which the blue elements in particular stand out, is protected by a mineral glass. The water resistance of this model is 100 m, so it can easily handle contact with water, including swimming or minor immersion. The luminescence applied to the hands ensures better legibility in low light conditions.
