The Alpina AlpinerX Horological Smartwatch AL-283LBN5NAQ6 combines classic watch design with smartwatch functions to form a link between modernity and classic. Its features and appearance make it a great choice for both sporting activities and everyday wear.
The case, made of glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide, houses the Swiss AL-283-1 battery-powered movement, which is capable of two-way communication with smartphones thanks to the MotionX® open platform, making it a synthesis of hi-tech innovation and traditional Swiss watchmaking. All this without the need for constant recharging of the battery, whose claimed lifetime is approximately 2 years. Useful functions, usable when paired with a phone via Bluetooth, include tracking daily activities, sleep monitoring with the possibility of waking up at the most convenient time according to the sleep cycle, dual time, or notification of an incoming mail or missed call, or GPS route recording (only in combination with a smartphone - the watch does not have its own GPS module). All available functions can be controlled via the crown and side buttons and are displayed thanks to the combined analogue-digital dial.
The AL-283LBN5NAQ6 model comes with a practical rubber strap and fits perfectly on most men's wrists thanks to the 45mm case diameter. The water resistance of this watch is 100m, so it can easily handle swimming, for example. The clear dial is rendered in a "diver" style and is protected by a sapphire crystal that is highly scratch resistant. There is also a two-way rotating compass lunette.
