The Swiss Oris ProPilot Altimeter x Bamford Mission Control Limited Edition 01 793 7775 8724-Set impresses with its attractive pilot style and excellent workmanship. This model will serve you excellently not only in the clouds, but also in everyday wear. It is the only model in the world with an analogue altimeter and a mechanical movement at the same time! This limited edition has been created in collaboration with the British Bamford Watch Department (BWD) in only 250 pieces for the whole world.

The case of the Oris ProPilot Altimeter x Bamford Mission Control Limited Edition 01 793 7775 8724-Set is made of a unique carbon material and is complemented by a textile-leather strap. The lunette is decorated with the typical scalloping that symbolizes the turbine of an aircraft engine. The strap is equipped with a special patented buckle called "Lift", which is stylishly designed like the buckle of an airplane seat belt. The lunette is made of titanium with a black PVD finish. The case was developed and manufactured in cooperation with 9T Labs, based in Zurich. The latter specialises in the design and development of manufacturing solutions for stronger and lighter parts for the aerospace and automotive industries with an emphasis on minimal environmental impact. Oris was the first watch brand to partner with 9T Labs. You won't find this case material on any other watch model. 9T Labs' carbon provides exceptional strength (greater than metal) at the weight of plastic. Despite its larger size, the watch weighs only 98 grams.

Inside the case, the Oris 793 Swiss mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW300-1) with automatic winding works reliably. This movement has 25 stone fits inside and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4 Hz). A handy date indicator is located at position 3. Around the perimeter of the dial we find an analogue altimeter, operated by a crown at the 4 o'clock position. The altimeter has a range of 0-6000 metres.

The perfectly clear dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, which is extremely scratch-resistant. Legibility in sharp light is ensured by an internal anti-reflective layer. In darkness and low light conditions, the luminescence of Superluminova on the hands and indexes is useful. The water resistance of this watch is 100 m ( 10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as swimming. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.

Bamford Watch Department (BWD) is a London-based company that customizes and personalizes watches of prestigious brands. BWD was given the Oris ProPilot Altimeter model and a free hand in customising its design. The result is almost a "Space Watch" with a bright, legible and futuristic look.
