The Orient Star RE-BW0005N M45 Classic Moon Phase Limited Edition watch introduces a brand new minimalist design that expresses the main theme of this model series - the graceful flow of time. The hand-wound model is part of the prestigious Orient Star M45 collection, which emphasizes subtlety, purity and timeless aesthetics.

The dominant elements of the M45 F8 Classic Moon Phase series dials are the iconic Orient Star complications - the moon phase indicator and the power reserve indicator. In the case of the new RE-BW0005N, both are elegantly incorporated without distracting numerical scales, enhancing the feeling of the flowing and serene passage of time. The seconds hand is also deliberately absent, giving the watch a deeper sense of pausing and contemplating each moment.

The gradient grey-black dial with its subtle pattern evokes the luminosity of the Pleiades star cluster in the constellation Taurus. The surface of the dial is coated with a medium that gives it depth and evokes the depths of the universe. The well-chosen silver leaf hands create a desirable contrast with the dial surface. An interesting detail is the elongated minute hand, extending down to the minute scale and following the curve of the glass. The mother-of-pearl filled moon in the moon phase indicator is also to be appreciated.

The watch stands out for its level of craftsmanship, unmistakable design, elegant lines and details of the case and dial. The case of the Orient RE-BW0005N00B is made of stainless steel. Inside, we find the Orient F8A62 mechanical movement with a power reserve of 70 hours and a high precision of +15 to -5 s/day. This movement also features a stopping of the seconds hand when setting the watch (called hacking) and an interesting complication is the winding reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position. This movement belongs to the new generation of in-house movements of the Orient Star brand and guarantees high precision and reliability. The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 semi-rhythms/hour, can also be observed thanks to the open caseback. The caseback is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The unusual dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring better legibility even in direct light. The water resistance of this model is 30 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The elegance of the watch is enhanced by the supplied black leather cordovan strap finished with a fold-over clasp. This luxurious natural material is known for its high durability, fine sheen and long life. With a case diameter of 39.5 mm, the watch is a great choice for a suit.

Limited to just 140 pieces, the limited edition watch impresses with its grey gradient dial representing the luminous mystical Pleiades star cluster, also known as "Subaru" in Japan.
The selected Orient Star dials are characterised by complex manufacturing processes and advanced technology. In this model, patterns representing stars are first stamped on the dial surface. The subtle patterns change form depending on the angle from which light strikes the surface, creating a scene of shimmering stars. The paint is then applied to the surface, the density of which is finely adjusted to achieve a transition from grey in the centre of the dial to black, which appears towards the outer edge. In addition, the lacquered surface is coated with a medium that gives the grey dial the depth of the night sky and space.
