The Orient Star RE-AZ0005S Classic Skeleton watch is designed to attract attention. It offers an unusual look at the very heart of the watch through the skeletonized dial and movement. It reveals the beauty and perfection of fine mechanics.

The Orient Star Classic Skeleton watch is a celebration of 70 years of the Orient Star brand. The skeleton movement, first introduced by the brand in 1991, consists of over a hundred precision parts, hand-assembled by skilled watchmakers in Akita, the home of the ORIENT STAR brand.
The top Classic Skeleton models offer a power reserve of up to 70 hours thanks to the F8B62 calibre used. The higher power reserve has been achieved thanks to a newly developed silicon stepping wheel, which is lighter and processed with greater precision, increasing the efficiency of power transmission. Its bold blue colour and unique spiral shape evokes the Milky Way galaxy, symbolizing the space-inspired design theme of ORIENT STAR's 70th anniversary.

The watch stands out for its level of craftsmanship, unmistakable design, lines and details of the case and dial. The case of the Orient RE-AZ0005S00B is made of stainless steel. Inside, we find the Orient F8B62 mechanical movement with a power reserve of 70 hours and a high accuracy of +15 to -5 s/day. This movement also features a stopping of the seconds hand when setting the watch (called hacking) and an interesting complication is the winding reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position. The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 half-beats/hour, can also be observed thanks to the transparent caseback. The caseback is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The unusual skeleton dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. In addition to the special dial with a cut-out centre, the owner will be delighted by the details in the form of the hands, the signed crown, the view of the movement and its components, or the casework and the transitions of the polished and brushed surfaces. The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. The elegance of the watch is enhanced by the supplied brown leather cordovan strap finished with a fold-over clasp. The 38.8 mm case diameter makes the watch a great choice for a suit.
