Laco Einsatzuhr Atacama watch . 2 has been developed to withstand even the harshest conditions. It was developed in collaboration with the German army and special forces. The Laco Atacama is aimed primarily at emergency services, police, military and anyone who enjoys outdoor activities and needs to rely on their watches.
Laco Einsatzuhr Atacama. 2 from the Squad series features an unusual construction with a screw-down crown located at the 12 o'clock position. This position does not hinder ease of use and ensures that despite the larger case size, the watch is comfortable on the wrist. The steel case of the watch with a black PVD surface finish is complemented by a black rubber strap. The watch is equipped with a unidirectional rotating countdown bezel, which was chosen for the possibility of easy time synchronization. The black dial features excellent clarity and legibility, which is enhanced in low-light conditions by luminescence on the hands, numerals and indices. It is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. With a case size of 46.2 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 60 mm, the watch fits well on the wrist thanks to the sophisticated shape of the case. Many will enjoy the ability to observe the movement through the transparent screw-down caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal. With its set of features, the watch is predestined for use in sports and in the water.
It is powered by a mechanical movement with Laco 200 automatic winding (based on the Sellita SW200 Elaboré - tested in 3 positions, accuracy +/- 14 s/day), offering a power reserve of around 38 hours. With a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, the machine offers the possibility of winding by crown, a function to stop the seconds hand when setting the time(hacking) and a date display at the 6 o'clock position. Luminescence on the hands, numerals and indices provides better legibility in low light conditions.
