The Citizen Skyhawk A-T Blue Angels JY8078-01L is the perfect watch for lovers of precise time, which is displayed by multi-frequency radio time control. This model is powered by solar energy (Eco-Drive), eliminating the need to replace the battery. This makes this piece particularly suitable for everyday wear.
The case of the Citizen JY8078-01L is made of stainless steel and is complemented by a leather strap. Inside this case works the in-house Citizen U680 movement, which offers absolutely accurate time thanks to the Radio-Controlled system, i.e. time synchronization by radio signal. You can also rely on other functions, such as battery indication, overcharge prevention, undercharge warning with two-second jumps of the second hand, or switching to power-saving mode. You can also make use of the stopwatch function, automatic calendar (showing day, month and year), time zones, daylight saving time, UTC, timer, 2x alarm, display illumination, energy saving mode 1 and 2, shock detection functions or, for example, the slide rule for simple slide rule calculations.
This model is powered by Eco-Drive technology, a light-charged battery with a runtime reserve of up to 6 months (up to 42 months in power-saving mode). This eliminates the need to replace the battery. The water resistance ofthis watch is200 m, so it can easily handle contact with water, such as swimming or diving. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that provides maximum protection against scratches.
This pilot model is created in honor of the aerobatic group Blue Angels with their logo on the dial. The Blue Angels perform choreographed aerial routines choreographed by US Navy pilots. This team was formed in 1945 to draw public attention to naval aviation. It is the second oldest aerobatic team in the world (after France's Patrouille de France from 1931).
