The Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive JV1006-51L is the ideal choice for both active athletes and casual wearers. The watch impresses not only with its design, but also with features such as the Eco-Drive, which provides power by light energy (no need to change the battery). This model celebrates 35 years of the Promaster line, and in particular the new in-house movement U822.
The Citizen BN0118-55E has a case including the bracelet made of stainless steel. Inside the case is the Citizen U822 in-house movement, which features a light rechargeable battery with a power reserve of up to 12 months (up to 3.5 years in power saving mode, or 42 months) and a low battery indicator function. The machine has its own analogue and digital part, which brings a lot of useful functions. The sub-dial at the 8 o'clock position serves as a stopwatch counter or a charge reserve indicator. The sub-dial at the fourth hour shows the current mode of the watch. Around the perimeter of the dial we find a compass lunette, operated by the crown at the eight o'clock position.
The digital part is made up of a MIP (Memory-in-Pixel) display, which allows for better readability compared to more standard segmented LCDs and the display of more information. An improvement with the alarm function is the ability to set 2 alarms and for different times on different days. There is also a countdown timer (up to 99 minutes), or world time. The display provides a digital time display and an automatic calendar. Also great is the function to display the intensity of the incident light.
The clear dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal that provides maximum protection against scratches. The anti-reflective coating then ensures great legibility even in direct sunlight. The water resistance of the watch is 200 m and is therefore suitable for use in water, including swimming or diving. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by the luminescence applied to the indices and hands, as well as the backlighting of the digital display.
Citizen watches are guaranteed for 5 years.
