The new Certina DS PH1000M C024.907.18.051.00 is sure to impress with its retro style and black dial. A great novelty is the hairline band made of antimagnetic material - NivachronTM. The water resistance of the watch is up to 1000 m, which makes this diving model an ideal companion on every trip - even underwater.

The Certina C024.907.18.051.00 watch with high water resistance (PH = "Pression Hydrostatique 1000 mètres") has a date display, screw-down crown and screw-down dial. The detailed dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The watch case is made of brushed, 316L stainless steel. Thanks to the diver's lunette in anodised aluminium, this watch further emphasises its diving style. The water resistance of the watch is 1000 m, making it suitable for deep-sea diving. The hands, indices and dots on the dial are equipped with a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating, so you don't have to worry about the dial not being easy to read in poor visibility conditions. The watch comes in a special box, which will be appreciated by watch collectors, but certainly by other owners as well.

This watch model references the historic watches of the 1970s and brings timeless design and performance into the present and future. During this period of the 20th century, Certina demonstrated the strength of its watches in a number of important, research projects and expeditions. The experience from these projects led the brand to develop new watches adapted to life under the sea. They combine an older, albeit timeless design, with the latest technologies such as the Powematic 80 calibre or the DS concept.

The Swiss-made ETA Powermatic 80.611 movement, which has 25 stone settings and has a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The machine operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 semi-frequencies per hour). The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic field and temperature changes and results in better accuracy of the watch.

Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
