A watch the size of a ring, a ring with watch functionality – that's precisely what the new Casio Ring Watch CRW-002G-9AER is, this time inspired by the iconic Casio A168 model. It expands the Casio Ring Watch range of practical yet playful digital watches that were made possible thanks to a miniature module and advanced metal processing technology.

Creating an all-metal version of a Casio watch the size of a ring with a complex shape is no easy task. To achieve this, Casio had to use a special metal processing method – injecting a mixture of fine metal powders and resin into a mould. Using metal injection moulding (MIM), the case, case back and ring are cast as a single piece. On the ring band, you'll notice that the classic bracelet design of the Casio Collection A168 watch has been faithfully preserved and reproduced.
A special glass bonding technique ensures a robust seal for the watch, achieving basic water resistance. The ring watch naturally allows for battery replacement.

The inner diameter of the Casio CRW-002G-9A ring is 20 mm with a circumference of 62.8 mm. The ring is therefore suitable for a finger size 20.5 EU (22 JP, 10.5 US, U UK).

The package includes two sizing spacers. By using them, the size can be adjusted to:
19.5 EU (19 JP, 9.5 US, T UK) (inner diameter 19 mm)
18.2 EU (16 JP, 8 US, Q UK) (inner diameter 18 mm).

The miniaturised watch module is powered by a small button battery and housed in a case that can be operated using three buttons on the sides.
Even at this small size, the watch is equipped with a 7-segment LCD display that shows the time, date, day of the week, dual time, stopwatch, alarm, 12/24 hour format, and features LED illumination of the display. The watch has an automatic calendar (February with 28 days), so you don't need to worry about adjusting it over time.
There's also a practical display illumination function when the alarm is activated.
