The Bulova American Girl 96L333 Limited Edition is part of the special Archive Series, which aims to commemorate iconic Bulova models that have made history with their designs and use. Following the highly successful Bulova Lunar Pilot, Devil Diver, Computron, Joseph Bulova and Accutron models, the second time around comes the American Girl, a women's model characterized by a subtle feminine design and elegance that also makes the watch a piece of jewelry.
The exceptional Bulova American Girl 96L333 model is released in a limited edition of only 3,000 pieces and only a fraction will be available in the Czech Republic.

Under the American Girl label, we can find a number of important Bulova ladies' watches that have become very popular and iconic models. The Bulova brand has been a favorite of celebrities and trendsetters for several decades. The first recorded use of the American Girl name dates back to 1933. Watches with this name were part of the 1937-1938, 1947, 1952, 1954 and 1957-1960 collections.
In the 1950s, among other things, the watch was featured on Frank Sinatra's The Frank Sinatra Show (also known as Bulova Watch Time). Like many other historical models, interest in Bulova American Girl models has recently increased. Bulova's modern take on the historic models boasts appearances in two award-winning television series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (here starring a model inspired by the 1955 watch) and The Queen's Gambit, where the watch proudly appears on the wrists of the leads.

The Bulova American Girl 96L333 follows the previous highly successful limited edition Bulova American Girl 97L170, which was a throwback to the 1957 Bulova American Girl "K" model. As part of The Queen's Gambit series, they can be seen on the main character Beth Harmon, a young female chess prodigy who received them as a gift from her adoptive mother. The Bulova American Girl 96L333 watch highlights the brand's rich history of elegant women's watches.

The case of the Bulova American Girl 96L333 has an asymmetrical shape and is made of stainless steel. It is complemented by an identically coloured bracelet, connected at its ends by a chain that takes over the function of the clasp. The bracelet is able to adapt to most wrist shapes and sizes. The case and the bracelet are decorated with delicate facets.
The clear white dial, made in the style of the 1950s, gives an interesting retro impression and is fitted with embossed numerals and indices at the hour positions and delicate blued hands. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring excellent legibility even in direct light. The water resistance of the model is 30 m, it can withstand contact with water during hand washing and rain. The watch is powered by a Japanese Miyota 5R21 battery movement with an extended battery life of around 4 years.
