Bulova 96K112 Jet Star Limited Edition is a reminder of one of Bulova's iconic 1973 Jet Star "F" models , this time from the 1970s, which will be 50 years old this year. Bulova has faithfully captured the look and overall feel of the original Jet Star model and fitted the new model with interesting movements, namely the Bulova Manufacture Precisionist High Precision Quartz movement. The movements are characterized by high precision and smooth running seconds (the predecessor was powered by automatic movements and offered both a day and date display). The watch impresses not only with its design and workmanship, but above all with its reference to the 1970s, which we associate with many important models and events in the watchmaking field.
The Archive Series, which aims to commemorate iconic Bulova models that have made history with their designs, use, etc., after the highly successful Bulova Lunar Pilot, Computron, Devil Diver, etc., comes with a reinterpretation of the iconic Bulova 1973 Jet Star "F" model from the 1970s.
The case of the Bulova 96K112 Jet Star Limited Edition is made of stainless steel and its design is based on the Bulova Chronograph used by astronaut Scott on the Apollo 15 mission. This is roughly 8 times higher than conventional quartz movements (32768 Hz). Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve a high running accuracy with a deviation in the range of ± 5 s / month.
The perfectly clear silver dial with red and blue indices and minute scale on the outer perimeter is protected by a protruding sapphire crystal with high scratch resistance. The battery-powered movement, operating at 262 kHz, features a date display at the 3 o'clock position. The watch comes on a steel bracelet with the option of exchanging it for a blue leather strap, which is included in the special package. The bracelet is easy to change thanks to the quick release system. The 40 mm case diameter ensures that the watch fits perfectly on virtually all wrists. The water resistance of the model is 50 m.
The limited edition is limited to 7300 pieces. The watch comes in a special box - with an extra blue leather strap.

Accuracy is +/- 5 sec/month. However, it's such a low number, that is doesn't matter. Watch is very accurate.
