In addition to the characteristic shape of the case, the most striking feature of the Riviera models is the dial - in this case, a transparent one made of smoky blue sapphire, which also features a representation of rippled water. The Baume & Mercier Riviera M0A10815 has a sapphire transparent dial in smoky blue, revealing a glimpse into the heart of the watch. The watch is powered by the in-house made Baumatic BM13-1975A mechanical movement with an impressive power reserve of 120 hours. The self-winding movement with a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour offers a crown winding option, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking) and a date at the 3 o'clock position.
The unmistakable dial is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is also equipped with double-sided anti-reflective coating, ensuring excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. Sapphire has also been used for the caseback, through which the operation of the mechanical movement can be observed.

The watch case is made of 18k rose gold. It is complemented by a blue alligator leather strap finished with a golden thorn clasp. It is the integrated alligator strap that supports the elegance of the watch with its otherwise sporty DNA given by the 4 functional screws in the lunette and the satin finish of the case. In addition, the strap is equipped with a quick-release system, making any change very easy without tools.

Better legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by the Super-LumiNova luminescence on the hands and indices. The water resistance of this model is 50 m. The diameter of the case is 39 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists.
