Men's Alexander Shorokhoff Regulator AS.R02-3 watch belongs to the Avantgarde model series. The Regulator R02 is a very successful successor to the Regulator 01 - a fascinating watch in a traditional design. It was first presented at BaselWorld 2016 and immediately won huge admiration.
The case of the Regulator AS.R02-3 is made of stainless steel. Inside it is a mechanical movement with a manual winding Poljot 3105 in a special finish by Alexander Shorokhoff. The movement is set with 17 ruby stones and has a power reserve of 42 hours. Its operation can be observed thanks to a transparent sapphire crystal dial. A handy date indicator is located at the 9 position. Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal.
Compared to the first version, the R02 has been redesigned in terms of design and function. The dial is guilloché in the shape of circles and the small dial at position 6 looks as if it has sun rays drawn on it. The open date display has been moved to position 9, where the seconds hand is also located. The dial is skeletonized in the middle to show the hand engraved movement.
The typical features of the avant-garde Alexander Shorokhoff line have remained intact: the elegantly sculpted hands and the large 60 at position 12.
The water resistance of this model is set at 5 ATM, so the watch can come into contact with splashing water when washing hands or taking a shower, for example. The watch comes with a calfskin leather strap.
The watch was produced in a limited edition of 98 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand sewn and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
