The men's Victorinox Dive Pro 241993.1 is the ideal choice for both everyday wear and active sportsmen. This watch has a case made of titanium which guarantees low weight, high strength and complete anti-allergy. A practical feature is the date display, which is located at the traditional 3 o'clock position. The clear dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is maximally scratch resistant.
The movement is powered by a Ronda 715 movement with an EOL (end-of-life battery) indication, which alerts you to the need to visit a watchmaker soon to change the battery. Water resistance of 300 metres is supported by a screw-down crown and compliance with the ISO 6425 diving standard. Better legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by luminescence applied to the indices and hands.
This model will stay on your wrist thanks to the silicone strap, which is equipped with a tool-less interchangeable mechanism. By pressing a small button from the bottom of the strap, the strap can be easily removed from the watch case. This makes it possible to change the strap, for example on the go, without the use of any tools. The watch can thus reflect the current need at a particular moment. A black rubber strap is also included.
As mentioned, the watch meets the ISO 6425 diving standard, which allows it to wear the Diver designation on the dial. Such a watch must have a water resistance of at least 100 meters, and the watch must be pressure tested to 125% of the declared water resistance value (i.e. a watch tight to 200 meters according to ISO 2281 is only tested to 200 meters, a diver's watch according to ISO 6425 must be pressure tested to 250 meters), and must meet other conditions as well. For example, they are tested for decompression, corrosion resistance, resistance to magnetic fields (in this case, the mandatory value of 4800 A/m is exceeded to 16000 A/m) or impact. It must also have a unidirectional rotating lunette, luminescence, etc.
