The Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer Special Edition T137.407.11.041.02 men's automatic watch belongs to the T-Classic line. At first glance, the watch impresses with its unusual, barrel-shaped case and bracelet connection.

The Tissot T1374071104102 is powered by the Powermatic 80.111 automatic movement, which boasts a power reserve of up to 80 hours, which is twice as high as is common with automatic movements in this price range. It is fitted with 23 jewels and its 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour can be observed through the transparent dial. The rotor of the watch is decorated with an engraving of the robot UFO Grendizer. This design not only highlights the craftsmanship, but also puts the spirit of anime at the heart of the watch. The movement is "built" on the basis of the ETA 2824 variant. The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic fields and temperature changes and has an impact on the better accuracy of the watch.

The hour and minute hands, as well as the indices, are coated with a luminescent coating for better reading of the time in twilight or darkness.

The second hand is inspired by the Grendizer's Harken weapon. This unique detail, coated with Super-LumiNova®, makes every movement a tribute to the heroic defender.

The watch case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The simple and clear blue dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating that is highly scratch-resistant. The blue dial of this model is adorned with a luminous Super-LumiNova® Grendizer silhouette, which only fully reveals itself in the glow.

Thanks to its water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM) , there is no need to remove the watch from your hand even when swimming or snorkelling. This makes it a great partner not only for everyday wear, but also for sports in the water and on land.

The special edition Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer comes in a custom-designed box, modeled after Grendizer's UFO Spazer. This unique packaging with original Go Nagai artwork adds a personal and nostalgic touch, making it a true collector's piece.

In the PRX model, the Tissot brand has resurrected a design from the 1970s. It references the pioneering work of watch designer Gérald Genta. Genta was responsible for icons such as the Universal Geneve Polerouter, the Audemars Piguet "Royal Oak", the IWC Ingenieur and the Patek Philippe "Nautilus". The PRX designation itself stands for "P" for Precise, "R" for Robust and "X" for the Roman numeral ten and a water resistance of 10 bar.
