The unisex digital Timex T80 x Peanuts Snoopy TW2Y76700UK watch combines iconic 1980s retro design with the playful nostalgia of the popular Peanuts comic strip. The central feature is a digital display set in a winter scene, with the famous beagle Snoopy skiing among falling snowflakes.
The watch offers all the key functions for keeping track of and organising your time, including a precise chronograph (stopwatch), current date display and reliable alarm. The patented electroluminescent INDIGLO® backlight ensures clear readability in low light and complete darkness, evenly illuminating the entire digital display at the press of a button. A digital quartz movement with caliber 555 ensures reliable and accurate operation of all functions.
The distinctive square case has a compact width of 34,5 mm and a height of 10,5 mm. It is made from special low-lead brass in an elegant silver finish with a polished surface. The dial with comic-strip graphics is protected by an acrylic crystal, in keeping with the authentic vintage aesthetic of the original T80 range.
A silver stainless steel strap joins the case at a lug to lug of 18 mm and features a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. The strap is finished with a practical self-adjusting clasp (Self-Adjust), allowing its length to be easily adjusted to fit wrist circumferences from 150 to 205 mm without watchmaking tools.
With a total weight of 77 g the watch feels solid on the wrist without restricting all-day wear.
Basic water resistance of 3 ATM (30 metres) protects the movement from accidental contact with water when washing hands, in light rain or from splashes.

Timex is an American brand of affordable watches that was founded in 1854 in Waterbury, Connecticut, where it is still based today. The manufacturer currently focuses on the production of a wide range of different types of watches, from the purely sporty digital Ironman (for example, this model from the 90s is legendary) to the formal mechanical Marlin or the very popular and extremely well-designed retro series Q Reissue, which is based on everyday watches from the 70s to 90s.
Over the decades, watches from this manufacturer have rightly earned a reputation for excellent price-performance ratio, which is of course very welcome for "normal" daily wear. A synonym for Timex is their slogan 'It takes a licking and keeps on ticking', which the company started using in the 1950s.
Nowadays, Timex is notorious for numerous collaborations with well-known and lesser-known brands and personalities, which often result in unique and highly collectible pieces. The first significant collaboration of this kind saw the light of day in 1930, when Timex released a series of watches inspired by Mickey Mouse together with the Disney company - which actually saved them from financial collapse at the time.
