The Swiss Oris Artelier Hölstein Limited Edition 2026 01 401 7812 4081 watch set stands out for its excellent craftsmanship and understated design. This limited edition, consisting of just 250 pieces worldwide, was named “Hölstein” after the hometown of the Oris brand.
The case of the Oris Artelier Hölstein Limited Edition 2026 0140178124081-Set is made of stainless steel and is paired with a leather strap. Inside the case, the Swiss-made Oris Caliber 401 self-winding mechanical movement operates reliably; this movement was developed and manufactured by Oris—making it an in-house movement produced entirely by the brand. This beautifully decorated movement features 24 jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The greatest advantage of the Oris Caliber 403 movement is its long power reserve of 120 hours, or 5 days. This is achieved thanks to two mainspring barrels with extended mainsprings. At the same time,high accuracy is ensured—-3/+5 seconds per day—which are better values than those of certified chronometers. This movement also features 30 new anti-magnetic components, resulting in greater resistance to magnetic fields and compliance with the ISO 764 standard. This movement also has a recommended service interval of 10 years (the manufacturer also provides a 10-year warranty upon registration with “MyOris”), thereby setting a new standard for the service interval of mechanical movements. Also worth noting is the new automatic winding rotor mounting system, which ensures smoother and more reliable operation. The Calibre 401 differs from its base model (Oris Calibre 400) in its off-center seconds hand.
The elegant yet easy-to-read dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that offers maximum scratch resistance. An internal anti-reflective coating ensures readability in bright light. This watch is water-resistant to 30 m (3 ATM), which means only basic water resistance—for example, in the rain or when washing your hands.

The Oris brand was founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein, where he is based today. The brand gradually grew to one of the largest employers in the region and in 1925 introduced its first wristwatch. Other company expansions and milestones followed, such as the automatic watch in 1952 or the first chronometer in 1967. In the 1970s, the company survived the so-called "Quartz crisis" and since the 1980s has been fully dedicated to producing quality mechanical watches is a chronograph, or lunar phase.
