The Swiss Oris Aquis Small Second Date 45,5 mm 01 743 7733 4155-07 4 24 69EB impresses with its specific, highly attractive "diver" design and excellent workmanship. This model serves perfectly not only underwater, but also in everyday wear.
The case of the Oris Aquis Small Second Date 0174377334155-0742469EB is made of stainless steel and is complemented by a rubber strap. Inside, the Oris 743 Swiss mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW220-1) with automatic winding works reliably. This movement has 26 stone fits inside and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4 Hz). A handy date indicator is located at position 3 , and an off-centre seconds hand is found at position 9. A unidirectional rotating ceramic diving lunette is used to measure time periods.
The perfectly clear dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. Legibility in sharp light is then ensured by an internal anti-reflective coating. In the dark and in low light conditions, the Superluminova luminescence on the hands and indexes is at your service. The water resistance of this watch is 500 m ( 50 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as deep diving to about 50 meters. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.

The Oris brand was founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in the Swiss town of Hölstein, where he is based today.
