This model will serve excellently not only underwater, but also in everyday wear. This limited edition, produced in just 2,000 pieces for the whole world, was created in honour of Oris' collaboration with the Reef Restoration Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to saving corals in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. This is the fourth version of the Great Barrier Reef model dedicated to this theme.

The case of the Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 43.5mm Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition IV 0140077904185-Set is made of stainless steel, as is its bracelet. Inside its interior, the Oris Calibre 400 Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding works reliably, which was developed and manufactured by Oris - so it is an in-house manufacture movement. This beautifully ornate movement has 21 stone fits within it, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4 Hz). The biggest advantage of the Oris Calibre 400 is its high power reserve of 120 hours, or 5 days. This is achieved thanks to the two featherweight calipers with extended lips. At the same time, high accuracy is ensured, namely -3/+5 seconds per day, which are better than certified chronometers. This movement also incorporates 30 new antimagnetic parts, resulting in greater resistance to magnetic fields and compliance with ISO 764. This movement also has a recommended maintenance interval of 10 years (the manufacturer also provides a 10-year warranty when registered on "MyOris"), setting a new standard for the maintenance interval of mechanical movements by the Oris brand. It is also worth mentioning the new rotor attachment system of the automatic winding, which ensures a simpler and at the same time more reliable operation.

A handy date display is located at position 6. A unidirectionally rotatable tungsten diving lunette is used to measure time periods.

The perfectly clear dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. Legibility in sharp light is ensured by an internal anti-reflective coating. In the dark and in low light conditions, the Superluminova luminescence on the hands and indexes is at your service. The water resistance of this watch is 300 m ( 30 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as diving to about 30 meters. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown.
