The Orient Contemporary Stretto RA-AK0311N 75th Anniversary Limited Edition celebrates 75 years of this Japanese brand. It expands the Contemporary line and the range of universally tuned watches suitable for everyday use.

The Orient Stretto models are based on the design of the popular Semi Skeleton model while taking inspiration from the urban landscape. The wedge-shaped indices are reminiscent of high-rise buildings, while the circular depression below the indices represents the curves often found in modern architecture. The brushed surface of the case and bracelet is suitably interrupted by polished elements that accentuate the lines of the watch.

The case of the Orient RA-AK0311N30B is made of stainless steel and inside it we find the Orient F6B24 mechanical movement with automatic winding and a power reserve of 40 hours. A natural function is the stopping of the seconds hand when setting the time (so-called hacking) and an interesting complication is the time of day display at the 5 o'clock position, with a disc showing the moon and sun. Also unusual is the day indicator in the sub-dial at the 10 o'clock position, with a date display at 3 o'clock. The movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 half-beats/hour, can be observed thanks to a specially marked transparent caseback.

The grey dial with sunburst effect and applied indices at the hour positions is protected by a high-scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The dial surface is suitably enlivened by an orange seconds hand and a day hand. The water resistance of this model is 50 m, so the watch can easily withstand normal contact with water, such as rain and hand washing. For better legibility in low light conditions, the watch is equipped with luminescent hands and dots at the indices. The watch comes on a steel bracelet, which is longer lasting compared to straps and makes the watch more versatile. The diameter of the case is 41.5 mm.

The limited edition is limited to 2500 pieces. The watch comes in a special package.

To celebrate 75 years since its foundation, the Orient brand presents a series of limited editions in an unconventional concept.
The unifying element of all the limited edition models is the use of the Orient logo from the 1950s, written in cursive script, and a special dagger that bears the inscription "Orient Since 1950 75th Anniversary" and bears the serial number of the limited edition.
