The watch features the so-called Stop2go system. This is based on the second hand completing a complete revolution in 58 seconds. It then stops for 2 seconds and then the minute hand jumps forward a full minute. The same system has been used in the station clocks of the Swiss State Railways (SBB) since 1940 to ensure precise time synchronization at all stations.
