Brutal elegance and visionary technology: The Mondaine Doppio Solar Skeleton MLE.41921.LBV brings a whole new dimension to the perception of time by making the energy source itself the central element of its design. A precisely cut circular opening in the center of the dial reveals the solar cells within, creating a striking interplay of light, depth, and precision—all without compromising the clear legibility that is characteristic of the Doppio collection.
Inspired by the concept of repetition, these watches feature distinctive double-line hands and hour markers, a concave dial, and double-curved sapphire crystal that further enhances the depth of the entire design.
Flawless operation is ensured by the Swiss Ronda 215 solar movement, which can convert both natural and artificial light into energy. When fully charged, the power reserve lasts up to 8 months in complete darkness. This more eco-friendly approach to timekeeping has thus completely eliminated the need for regular battery replacement.
The 41-mm polished black stainless steel case is complemented by an elegant strap made of vegan grape leather. A discreet date window adds practicality to the watch for everyday use, while precise Swiss craftsmanship (Swiss Made), durable sapphire crystal, and 5 ATM water resistance ensure reliability for daily wear.
The Doppio Solar Skeleton strikes the perfect balance between innovative technology and timeless design.
The watch is water-resistant to 50 m and can handle everyday moisture, hand washing, and showering. However, it’s best to remove it from your wrist when bathing or swimming.
