The Swiss Mido Ocean Star 600 Chronometer M026.608.33.051.00 watch will win its owners especially with its precise workmanship and attractive diver design. It is a great companion not only in the water, but also in everyday wear.
The Mido M026.608.33.051.00 watch has a case including the bracelet made of 316L stainless steel with DLC treatment, which guarantees increased protection against scratches. An extra rubber strap is also included. The case reliably ticks with the Swiss mechanical movement Mido Caliber 80 COSC Silicon (the base is ETA C07.821) with automatic winding. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour, has 25 jewels and, above all, an extended power reserve of 80 hours. The machine is COSC certified. Thanks to this, it can carry the "Chronometer" designation and meets the strictest requirements for running accuracy. In addition, the movement's flywheel has a silicon hairpin which, among other unique properties (e.g. improved accuracy), resists magnetic fields very well. At the 3 o'clock position we find a practical date display. A unidirectionally rotatable ceramic diving lunette can be used to measure time periods.
The clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which guarantees maximum scratch resistance. The double-sided anti-reflective coating then provides maximum legibility even in bright sunlight. The water resistance of this model is 600m (60 Bar), so it can easily cope with water activities such as deep-sea diving. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. There is also a helium valve for seamless pressure equalization when surfacing from great depths.
